Children are encouraged to participate in the 30 minute music session, moving to the beat to develop their sensory, motor and socialising skills. Following the music and morning tea there is a quiet story time; then a game or craft (for the 3 and 4 year olds); and free play for little ones, allowing time for parents to socialise.
Shining Stars Playgroup is a Christian based community playgroup and was founded by a member of the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Quebec City, Quebec.
Who can attend a playgroup session?
Children 0 to 4 years of age, accompanied by an parent or caregiver. All members of the community are welcome.
Playgroup is open to people of all faiths.
There will be some Christian content in the sessions eg songs/theme days, invitations to church events and activities for all the family.

This playgroup is not a drop off centre, daycare or child minding service.
